It’s back! With a few variations to respect social distancing and ensure public safety, British Pacific Properties is once again hosting its annual PAINT ON THE MOUNTAIN competition this August 15th – 16th, 2020.

More Information:

This is a call for artists to submit their interest and artwork to participate in this year’s annual competition. Twelve successful entries will be selected by Jury to participate in the challenge to paint nature and viewscapes en plein air on the serene mountainside of Hollyburn Mountain (off Cypress Bowl Road). Jurors will award three cash prizes totaling $2,500, with an additional prize awarded for The Peoples Choice.

Artist requirements for the call:

  1. Artists must submit two pieces that are painted en plein air (painted outdoors) and
    completed within the last 12 months, submitted at a minimum resolution of 72 DPI;
  2. Artists must include a CV; and,
  3. Entries must be submitted on or before July 8th, 2020 to info@cypressvillage.com
