Dozens of volunteers and local businesses contributed to the success of our event.
The art race of the year kicks off Saturday, September 20th with the results being displayed at Britannia Heritage Shipyard’s Sunday, September 21 through September 28 from noon till 5pm.”*

Costs: $45, includes access to property, artist apron, lunch and entry into judged completion.
Description:
Artists are invited to arrive at 7:00am to take advantage of the morning light and explore the scenic beauty of Leighton Centre. For those artists who wish to have their piece judged by an impartial jury, all paintings must be completed by 12:00pm. Artists are responsible for all supplies, easels and other materials.
In true plein air style, the event will take place rain or shine, so please come prepared. No refunds will be issued due to cancellation.
Experience the camaraderie with fellow artists and a barbeque lunch following the painting session.
