Description:

An invitation to plein air artists to participate in the Richmond Maritime Festival August 8th, 9th and 10th 2014 – held at Britannia Heritage Shipyards, a natural and historic gem on the Fraser River in Steveston.

We’re offering select spaces for onsite painting. Over 30,000 people attend, so a great opportunity for them to see you ‘in action’, see your work (a small portfolio), buy your work or get your card.

Contact us directly as space is limited – all participating artists will need to be scheduled re date and time.  No commissions taken on work sold.

Harmony Arts Festival presents the 7th Annual Grand Prix Plein Air Challenge. Includes fabulous prizes by Opus Framing & Art Supplies and Wine & Cheese Reception for jurors and participants following the judging.  Opportunity to place your work for sale onsite.

Wisteria Acres 2014

Date: July 10 – 13, 2014

Location: Langley, BC

Costs: $110 to $585

Instructor: Lalita Hamill & Michael King

Description:

For a fraction of the cost to paint with an instructor oversees, you can enjoy painting local landscapes on a beautiful retreat just outside of Fort Langley with this Vancouver artist workshop!

The retreat includes:

two instructors
six hours of instruction per day
individual attention throughout the day
three nights accommodation (full retreat only)
lunches provided (full retreat only)

The focus will be on plein air painting. If the weather doesn’t permit plein air painting we have access to a spacious indoor painting space.
