Location: Flying U Ranch, BC (map)
Costs: $1,800 – $2,100
Description:
The Retreat is the Federation of Canadian Artist’s largest educational and social event of the year.
The 2023 Retreat takes place at the Flying U Ranch at 70 Mile House, British Columbia. Located in the Cariboo region of BC, you’ll experience some of the most breathtaking plein air painting locations BC has to offer. We have the entire ranch to ourselves, so being responsible and socially distant are no problems.
Accommodations are beautiful, but rustic. It is a working ranch! You can book your own private accommodation or share your cabin with a friend or family member.
In the company of our Master Instructors (Maria Josenhans, Ann Willsie, Perry Haddock, Jack Turpin) you’ll spend your days creating, painting and developing your skills, while painting en plein air. In the evenings, you’ll have the opportunity to join your peers for a variety of fun social events or take the time to relax and explore your surroundings.
