From the Artist
“My creative journey has taken me down many paths. I remember as a little girl, taking “Painting in the Park” lessons. This was my first real taste of painting outdoors and I have been an avid plein air painter for quite some time now.
I carry my plein air gear wherever I travel, from Spain to Costa Rica, California and many of my favourite Gulf Islands.
As a teacher of painting, I believe in the power of positive influence. I take great pleasure in guiding students through their creative process, encouraging them to listen to their own voice.
My love of colour, of texture and shifting light in the landscape gives me the inspiration to put paint to canvas. Drawing from these elements, creating line, shape and form with strong design is what brings me to my easel each and every day”
